99999 Consulting LLC (pronounced “5 nines”) is an IT consulting company that focuses on the needs of those who seek our services. Whether the solutions require consultation, integration, staff augmentation, etc, we are committed to bringing solutions to bear. Our name comes from the target of most enterprises. In such cases, “5 nines” refers to 99.999% availability – that is, services are there for the users nearly always. In fact, in its strictest usage, 5 nines allows for just ~5.26 minutes of downtime per -year-.

While not all organizations’ goals necessitate such availability, having the expertise to think in those terms allows 99999 Consulting to span nearly all scenarios.

99999 Consulting holds the view that IT should be there to enable an organization to better attain its goals, not that IT should be implemented for its own sake. To that end, our approach to the complex problems of our clientele is to understand what they are trying to accomplish, how they’re currently solving problems and where information technology changes could yield improvement.

The combination of client-oriented-thinking, scalability and expertise in the field results in correct solutions for the specific organization’s problems, not canned solutions that are applied in a one-size-fits-all manner.

There is a purely technical aspect of IT which is an ever growing field creating new specializations regularly. To handle this part of IT, our team includes specialists in a variety of areas. Examples of these areas are routing and switching, wireless communications, virtualization/ cloud, unified communications, security and many more.

The average enterprise-level IT experience of our staff is greater than 10 years. Further, our team holds certifications in subjects such as routing and switching, VOIP, security, systems administration and many others and by many certifying organizations (Cisco, Microsoft, etc).

In addition to the technical aspect, IT is about matching solutions to business needs, project life-cycle management, effort prioritization and many other vital functions.
